Just my opinion: Faith provides comfort. It doesn’t provide guidance. If the complexity of this point isn’t evident, ask yourself this:
Imagine you fully embrace the Judeo-Christian tradition. Now imagine Satan had won, sits on the heavenly throne, and, as the official deity in charge is the one who provides moral guidance.
Would you follow that guidance, on the grounds that God defines morality?

I’m surprised, especially in the season, that you talked a lot about nothing being proven, but left out even a word on “faith”.
Where would we be without faith?
